Essay Competition on Talent Acquisition
IEEE Computer Society Madras Chapter, ACM Chennai & Computer Society of India Chennai Chapter are pleased to announce an essay competition on the topic "Talent Acquisition".
Talent acquisition is a strategic role in an organisation to identify, target, and attract the most qualified candidates for a given role. Talent acquisition is beyond simple recruitment and involves several complex steps to ensure long term needs of an organisation.
Talent acquisition involves different stakeholders -- employer, employee & recruiter. While each one of them contribute for the effective talent acquisition in the overall hiring ecosystem, challenges are faced by everyone.
We expect the authors to focus on the challenges faced by any one of the three stakeholders -- employer/employee/recruiter and pen the essay and submit the essay as per details outlined below:
Title: Challenges in Talent Acquisition in your role as ------ (Employer/Employee/Recruiter)
(Pl note the author needs to select one of the three roles and write the essay focusing on the challenges with reference to the selected role).
Open to: All including professionals, recruiters, faculty, students
Length: 600 to 750 words

Prizes: 12 prizes in total. Authors of four essays shortlisted under each of the three roles will be presented with a "Certificate of Appreciation" along with a copy of the book "FAIL-SAFE HIRING: Assuring Talent Acquisition" authored by Mr Raghunath Ramaswamy and priced at Rs. 395/- Please refer: https://amzn.to/3xkpNbn
(Pl note the no of prizes under each role may be revised based on the no of essays received under each role)
All the remaining authors submitted the essay will get a "Certificate of Participation".
